Korea is always one of the countries that i want to visit. In my plan, i was planning to go on 2013 or 2014. But out of my expectation, i was there on 2012. From the day i knew about the cheap package till i made decision and arrived KOREA, it was only took 1 week. It was really cool and exciting! I even didn't have much time to prepare.
This was my first time went to oversea (singapore is not included) and also my first time to take international flight. Not really know the procedure but luckily my cousin guided us. I took overnight flight and i didn't sleep for the whole flight. Weird, i was not tired. Once i reached Incheon International Airport, everything was very fresh for me! i couldn't believe i was in Korea that i always see from TV! The Korean words was strange yet familiar!
My Journey is started!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, it was only 3 degree Celsius! Yea, i wore thin but actually it was freaking cold. Very exciting when i was talking, the smoke was coming out from mouth! Quickly took a photo in front of Incheon Airport and run into the bus.
Once got into the bus, our tour guide-LIN told us that the schedule was different with the itinerary. Since we took overnight flight and looked tired, our first day itinerary would be easier and simple. Took around 2 hours to our first destination NAMISEOM ISLAND which very popular with Winter Sonata. The scene is very beautiful. But a little bit bad it wasn't a very good timing as it was already end of winter, couldn't see white snow there. Though, this place still very beautiful, i guess it has different view on different seasons, white on winter and yellow/red on autumn.
After NAMISEOM ISLAND, having our lunch. This was my first meal in Koea. I couldn't remember what this food calls, seems like chicken bla bla.. haha.. Well, but i remember the taste. It taste nice! Normally when i go outstation, i don't have appetite to eat. But i was luckily that every meal i ate nice! No feel hunger and uncomfortable, thanks god!
Our first day itinerary was really simple, after finished lunch, took around 2 hours bus again to our hotel. On the way went to hotel, i didn't sleep because i wanted to see the view. The Pine Tree is their national tree. You can see it along the road! 70% of Korea is covered with mountain. I still could see some snow on the trees and mountain! but the snow already start to melt.
Hmm.. very early right? we reached hotel before 4am. After check in , went to Spa. Then went for dinner around 6++.
This was our dinner. The main meal is something like dumpling. I not really like the dumpling as it is too salty! but the side dishes are very nice. Maybe for some people they don't think it's nice, but for me, i'm lovin it! We finish all the side dishes! haha, of course only for the first day. Try to imagine, even u like the food, but you will not feel like want to eat for every meal.
Back to hotel before 8pm. Considered very early as i thought would be back very late. It was good to back early, can rest more and re-charge our energy!
